Bagel with Lox and Cream Cheese
Ingredients:
- 1 plain bagel
- 4 oz smoked salmon (lox)
- 2-3 tablespoons cream cheese
- sliced red onion
- sliced tomato
- capers (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Step 1: Cut the bagel in half and toast it to your desired level of crispiness.
- Step 2: Spread cream cheese on one or both halves of the bagel, depending on your preference.
- Step 3: Add the smoked salmon on top of the cream cheese.
- Step 4: Layer sliced red onion and tomato on top of the salmon.
- Step 5: Sprinkle with capers, if desired, and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Step 6: Place the other half of the bagel on top to create a sandwich.
