Bacon Cheeseburger
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices of bacon
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Lettuce leaves
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, salt, and pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and form them into patties.
- In a pan over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to allow it to melt.
- In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard to create the burger sauce.
- Toast the hamburger buns on a separate pan or grill.
- Assemble the burger by spreading the sauce on both sides of the bun. Place the cooked patty on the bottom bun and top with bacon, tomato, onion, and lettuce. Add the top bun and enjoy!
