Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp
Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8-10 slices of bacon, cut in half
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Toothpicks
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Take one slice of bacon and sprinkle the sugar mixture on one side.
- Wrap the coated bacon slice around one shrimp, securing with a toothpick.
- Place the shrimp on a baking sheet lined with foil or a wire rack.
- Repeat with remaining shrimp and bacon slices.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp is cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
