Bacon-Wrapped Dates
Ingredients:
- 12 Medjool dates
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1/4 cup of goat cheese
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pit and slice each date down one side so it can be opened to remove the pit.
- In a small bowl, mix together the goat cheese, honey, salt, pepper, and chopped rosemary until well combined.
- Stuff each date with about a teaspoon of the goat cheese mixture.
- Wrap each date with half a slice of bacon, securing it closed with a toothpick.
- Place the wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
