Apple Crisp
Ingredients:
- 8 cups thinly sliced apples
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, mix together 1/2 cup flour, white sugar, and cinnamon. Add in the sliced apples and lemon juice, and toss until the apples are evenly coated.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, oats, 1/3 cup flour, and softened butter until the mixture is crumbly.
- Spread the coated apples evenly in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the crumbly mixture on top of the apples.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
